Our doctors and co-founders, Dr. Michael Dattoli and Dr. Richard Sorace, are world-renowned experts in prostate cancer treatment and care. Each has as much experience, if not more, than any prostate brachytherapist in the world. Together they represent nearly four decades of prostate-specific research and practice. These two specialists trained at some of the most highly regarded cancer research facilities in the world. Michael Dattoli, MD, attended the University of California at Berkeley and was the valedictorian of his class from Vassar College; he earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, then distinguished himself at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, as the Special Fellow in Brachytherapy. He was appointed Assistant/Associate Professor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He was recently selected by the International Association of Oncologists as a Leading Physician of the World and Top Brachytherapy Oncologist.
Richard Sorace, MD, PhD, after receiving a degree in Chemistry from Rensselear Polytechnical Institute graduated Medical School at University of Chicago, and then attained additional degrees including a degree in Medical Oncology and a PhD in pharmacology from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He completed a medical oncology fellowship and a radiation oncology residency at the renowned National Cancer Institute.
